The beaches of Strömstad

Apart from the bathing places mentioned here, there are plenty of secluded bays and cliffs where you can swim. Here you will find the guide to Uddevalla various beaches this summer!

Alaska – Nature reserve, stone and flower garden.
Located on Nord Långö, about 20 minutes by boat from Strömstad's guest harbour. Boat trips several times a day, or by your own boat straight onto the beach. Sandy beach, cliffs. Toilets, refreshments.

6 km north-west of Strömstad. Sandy beach and cliffs. Toilet and kiosk.

 

Furholmen
Island 10 minutes by boat from Strömstad's guest harbour. Frequent boat journeys. Sandy beach, cliffs, jetty and diving tower. Refreshments and toilets.

 

Hålkedalen
1.5 km south of Strömstad. Sandy beach, jetty.

 

Rossö
15 km south-west of Strömstad. Sandy beach, cliffs.

 

Saltö
15 km south-west of Strömstad. Sandy beach, cliffs, toilets and kiosk.

 

Seläter Havsbad
6 km north-west of Strömstad. Sandy beach, jetty, diving tower, water slide, toilets and kiosk. Disabled toilet and ramp.

 

Skurve
Bathing place at Skurveskär in Strömstad's southern harbour. Cliffs and ladder.

 

Styrsö
Island about 15 minutes by boat from Strömstad's North Harbour, with the passenger boat Kosterbåten (see timetable) Sandy beach, cliffs. Toilets and refreshments.
