Welcome to Grebbestad residential college of adult education
In the middle of Grebbestad, in north Bohuslän, you will find Grebbestad residential college for adult education, which is owned by Västra Götalandsregionen. It was founded in 1975 and had a focus on craft. Today we offer five general courses, seven specific courses and a variety of summer courses. The focus of the courses is still on craft. The closeness to the sea is the reason for the unique marine biology class we offer. The general courses have different focuses: workplace training, outdoor life, graphic design, silver- & jewellery design, and spa & health.
During the school year there are approximately 110 students attending classes and around 57 of them live in the school dormitory. Breakfast and lunch is served on every school day. The school has well equipped workshops, nice classrooms, gymnasium, gym, photo lab, climbing wall and a library.
Conference
Aside from the educational courses, we also do conferences at the school. Our conference guests can try new skills and experiences from textile printing to seal safari.
