At the southern point of Lake Vänern you’ll find the Table mountains Halle- and Hunneberg, The nature of the Ecopark is magnificent and mythical and has fascinated visitors from all over the world for many years. Nowadays Halle- and Hunneberg is a very popular area for recreation and outdoor actitivities. It is also known as the Elk Mountains since many elks live there in their natural habitat.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in Sweden and Europe, The Royal Hunt Museum Elk Hill have decided to cancel its elk safari tours in 2020.
The Royal Hunt Museum Elk Hill offer a safari tour that includes a trip to the mountain and back and a visit at the museum. You will enjoy a sandwich, elk meat and lingonberry juice in front of the open fire before the safari tour with bus starts.
At the Royal Hunt Museum you will be able to learn about the Elk, the wildlife and fauna of the mountains and also about the annual Royal Hunt.

Mondays and Thursdays June 22 - August 31:
June 22 - July 9: The bus leaves from Trollhättan at 7.00 p.m. and Vänersborg 7.20 p.m.
July 13 - July 30: The bus leaves from Trollhättan at 6.30 p.m. and Vänersborg 6.50 p.m.
August 3 – August 20: The bus leaves from Trollhättan at 5.30 p.m. and Vänersborg 5.50 p.m.
August 24 – August 31: The bus leaves from Trollhättan at 5.00 p.m. and Vänersborg 5.20 p.m.
