Fishing in Lake Hallsjön
Vargön

Peaceful fishing on beautiful Halleberg

Lake Hallsjön is located on the plateau mountain Halleberg near Lake Vänern and is the only lake on the mountain. During May-October, three tons of rainbow trout are released in the lake. There are also brown trout, char, pike and perch in the lake.

Fishing permit

A fishing permit is required for fishing in Lake Hallsjön and it is available for purchase at the tourist offices in Trollhättan and Vänersborg, The Royal Hunt Museum Elk Hill on Hunneberg, Ursand, Snäjk in Vänersborg, Fiskehopen in Trollhättan and the Preem gas station in Vargön. There are fishing inspectors that go around the lake and will ask you to show your fishing permit.

Please read this document for regulations.
