Furugården consists of two generously equipped buildings surrounded by an enchanting park, just a 10-minute car ride from Trollhättan. All the rooms are comfortably furnished with a traditional Swedish country style and allow the guests to easily come in contact with each other, when they want to. B&B guests enjoy spending time in the park as well as the magnificent living room, library and conservatory during their stay.
Furugården is not just a place for short-term guests, but is also intended as a retreat for people who would like to take a longer break, relax, recover from an illness or find new inspiration. As a result, the prices for longer stays are significantly cheaper in comparison to only three nights, which is the minimum length of stay.
About Furugården
Furugården is a peaceful place that strives for friendly interactions among the staff and guests. This means that we are open to all people and respect the personal freedom of each individual person, but we are also there for our guests when they would like assistance with personal matters.
The atmosphere is relaxed, everyone can make a cup of coffee or tea by themselves if they want or swing by the kitchen. Our hostess, Anita Zimmermann, makes sure that all guests feel at home and ensures a friendly, caring coexistence. Guests will find the opportunity for lively discussions or space for peace and quiet.
Rooms
Furugården has three double rooms, two triple rooms and one room that is suitable for use as both a single room and a room for couples. All rooms have bright and friendly furniture, in traditional Swedish country style.
The four bathrooms in total are outside of the guest rooms and have to be shared with the other guests during full occupancy. But most of them are right next to the rooms.
