In our shop, you will find among other things, our own lamb skin, artisan food, ceramics, jewelry, books and much more.

Café

In our café, you can enjoy sandwiches, pies which are baked/cooked with a good cup of coffee or tea. We serve organic coffee and bake only with locally produced eggs and real butter! During the summer, the freezer is filled with ice cream from GB.

Singer Marie Arturén

Grovare Events & Café is owned by Marie Arturén, who was a singer in a dance band called Drifters between 1990-1995. She has had hits in the Swedish top and has participated in various café programs, Bingo-Lotto, festivals and radio shows. In 1996, she began to sing jazz, which contributed to new recordings, gigs at clubs and festivals both in Sweden and abroad.

Marie has also played with the children's theater including guest appearances at the Scala Theatre in Stockholm and Lorensbergsteatern in Gothenburg, but works with various events with a broad repertoire. In addition to singing in churches and at club meetings, she leads the singing, choir and ceremonies including the company events.

Marie has worked with many Swedish artists and musicians. Goran Åhlfeldt, Stefan Ljungqvist, Magnus Johansson, Marcos Ubeda, Cindy Peters, Lill-Babs, Claes Janson, Jan Allan, Rune Gustafsson, Sten Nilsson, Lennart Palm, Shirley Clamp and Sofia Källgren to name a few.

Food, conference entertainment & shopping

We welcome booked groups in our café and can accommodate between 12-20 people. For larger groups, meals are served and the live entertainment takes place in our beautiful community center next door, there is the opportunity to visit and possibly do some shopping in our store.
