At the end of the pier leading out into lake Åsunden in Ulricehamn is the restaurant Lago located. Lago is the Italian word for lake, and the name came naturally regarding the restaurant's Italian heritage.
Fine dining with a view
Restaurant Lago serves classic Scandinavian food with a modern touch inspired by Italy and France. The chef, Christopher Lai, has several years of experience in gourmet cooking. He has been involved in receiving a Bib Gourmand from Guide Michelin for affordable, high-quality food. Christopher is also listed on international charts along with several of the world's most reputable chefs.
The vision of restaurant Lago is to offer the guests a holistic experience. Good food, made from the highest quality ingredients, complemented by carefully selected wines forms the basis. The menu and wine list are updated regularly, and the dishes are composed based on the available seasonal ingredients. The cozy environment combined with the unique location and the fantastic view completes the experience.

The Cold Bath House's history
Ulricehamn has a long, rich traditional history. The tradition of health and wellbeing is a hallmark of the city. Many remember the stately resort hotel, which was situated by the current Lassalyckan Hotel.
The location of the open-air swimming-bath on the edge of Lake Åsunden is breathtakingly beautiful. The cold bath house is built on pillars some 100 meters out on the lake. Along the shore you can take a walk on the promenade and the city center is not far away.
