A suitable starting point is Dalum church, follow the road to Nöre, opposite the church, and the connecting trail to the Dalum Trail is on the left after the residential building. What to see
A cultural hiking trail that can also be shortened as required, thanks to several connecting trails. You can easily create your own circular route. The trail passes places where there used to be old smallholdings and crofts, stone age cairns and millstone quarries. You also pass two lakes with bird-watching hides and other places of natural beauty.
There are two shelters and several nice picnic areas along the path, and it’s worth making a detour to the 19th century dugout shelter in Nöre, which is always open. There’s no accommodation directly by the trail but you can hire cosy cottage accommodation at Frömans Brygga in Trädet, about 13 km away, or stay in the charming historic STF hostel at lovely Årås Mill, in Kölingared, also about 13 km away.
