Swimming spot - Rökan
Kungälv
The small island of Rökan, located next to Vrångholmen, at the southern end of the Instö bridge, offers swimming, fishing, and nature experiences. The area has parking, a kiosk, restrooms, bathing steps and a playground.
Accessibility
The bathing area is not adapted for accessibility. There are rocks leading to the bathing steps, which makes accessibility difficult. However, the restroom is adapted for everyone.
Maintenance
The bathing area is maintained by the municipality's Leisure Unit.
Getting Here
You can easily find your way to Rökan's bathing area by car or bus. Take road 168 towards Marstrand, and after approximately 21 kilometers, you'll find the bathing area near the southern end of Instö bridge.
If you're traveling by bus, you can take the one from Kungälv's travel center to the Rökan bus stop.
