The almost 200 year-old manor at Munkedal in West Sweden is a unique place to meet, in serenity beneath the trees. Enjoy good food and comfortable beds in a beautiful setting. The restaurant offers the best in terms of game and fish, alongside seasonal primeurs, thanks to the sea and the forests close by. Welcome to the good life, if only for a day.
The manor at Munkedal has a long history, starting at the beginning of the 19th century, but the stories from the area around the manor go back over 1000 years from the herb gardens of the Norbertine monks via medieval ballads to the old foundries and the birth of industrialisation.
