Beautiful walks and dips in the sea

There are fine tracks and footpaths very close to Johannesvik Camping for those who enjoy walking in the beautiful West Sweden countryside. If you feel like a dip in the sea, go to the campsite’s beach in Klevekilen Nature Reserve  where there are smooth rocks to swim off and a sandy cove for children.

Camping for families

There are three playgrounds at the campsite to make sure that children will have a really good time, each with different equipment and a separate pitch for ball games. The mini golf course is also a popular pastime, as well as the campsite’s sauna raft. During the summer season there are lots of group activities organised for children, such as crab fishing, mountain race and creative crafts, while you take it easy by the sea or in the wellbeing area.

Johannesvik Camping is a pet-friendly accommodation where pets are welcome in selected units for an additional fee. Leashes are required on the premises, and guests are expected to be considerate.

Food for adults and kids

If you don’t feel like cooking, just go to the campsite restaurant Wägga Lantkök which serves everything from burgers and pizzas to pasta and meat dishes. During peak season you can enjoy a quiz or an evening with a troubadour. There also is a grillhouse, called Wägga Strandgrill, down at the beach.
