Unique Building

Tidaholm City Library is located in a cultural house constructed in 1897 in the neoclassical style.
The building has undergone several renovations while maintaining its original style. It houses the municipality's main library, an assembly hall, a genealogy research room, and more.
The grand and magnificent assembly hall, restored to its original condition, is a sight in itself, where temporary exhibitions and events are held. The library building has been a cultural hub in Tidaholm since the late 1800s. Vulcan was one of the world's largest matchstick factories at that time and erected the building for its workers.
