Scenic area with proximity to swimming, fishing, bird watching and hiking trails and more

Easily accessible outdoor area located between two lakes, Hovsjön and the Baltic Sea, 6 km south of Färgelanda. Here you will find excellent hiking trails, nice campsites with wind shelter, barbecue areas, swimming and fishing opportunities.

Between the years of 1896 and 1964 the railway, the Lelången line, passed through the area. Cycling trails are nearby on the old embankment.

A map of the hiking trails can be found at the Tourist Office in Färgelanda as well as on the bulletin board at the parking lot.

The area also offers you who are interested in bird watching a bird tower erected for this purpose.

Ideal for a day out with the whole family. The terrain is not hilly.

There are swimming facilities nearby, signposted off road 172 just before Sundsbron.

Directions

From road 172, 6 km south of Färgelanda, turn towards the sign "Tegen" and "Motorbana". Drive past the motorway. On the left is a small sign and an information box, where you can start the hike.
