At Torsberg Gård, just outside Färgelanda in Dalsland, nature, tradition and rural community come together. There are three self-contained properties available to rent here – Jaktstugan, Stallet and Herrgården – each with its own character and the feeling of staying in your own house in the countryside.
The accommodation has been thoughtfully furnished with high-quality materials and well-considered details. Comfortable, beautifully made-up beds and a warm, personalised décor create a welcoming and homely atmosphere where you can relax, enjoy yourselves and feel right at home.
Around Torsberg Farm there are excellent opportunities for walking, mushroom picking, cycling, fishing, swimming and kayaking. For golf enthusiasts, Dagsholm’s 18-hole golf course is just a few minutes’ drive from the farm.
Each accommodation unit has its own fully equipped kitchen where you can bring your own ingredients and cook together. Enjoy preparing a delicious dinner, gather round the dining table and let the meal become part of your stay. Alternatively, you can buy food from local shops and restaurants or order meals from a catering company.
Three accommodation options – three different experiences
Jaktstugan (The Hunting Lodge)
A cosy cottage surrounded by nature, accommodating up to 8 guests. It features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a wood-burning stove and a large terrace overlooking the countryside. Read more about the Hunting Lodge.
Stallet (The Stable)
A cosy and characterful converted stable with 10 beds and generous communal areas. The Stable is suitable for both families and groups and can also be used for small conferences, group activities and events. It can accommodate up to 15 people for conferences. Read more about The Stable.
Herrgården (The Manor House)
A beautiful and timeless property with spacious communal areas, a dining room and lounges. It can accommodate up to 12 overnight guests and seat up to 16 people for dinner. Perfect for family weekends, celebrations and larger gatherings. Read more about the Manor House.
Dogs are welcome in all three properties.
The properties can be combined to accommodate larger groups. Together, the Manor House, the Stables and the Hunting Lodge offer 30 beds.
More than just accommodation
Torsberg Gård is just as suitable for a weekend with the family or a few days with friends as it is for conferences, group meetings and other gatherings. There is plenty of space here for both relaxation and socialising, with the chance to enjoy peaceful days in the countryside or explore the natural surroundings through local activities.
Above all, Stallet is well suited to smaller conferences and group meetings. Being able to combine a meeting room, accommodation and shared meals in one place creates a personal and relaxed meeting environment.
