Go on a family road trip to discover exciting retro attractions, fun playgrounds, several indoor activities and farmers market. This is your guide to 10 different stops while in Lerum.

1. Play Multigolf at Öijared resort

Where: Öijaredsvägen 59, Floda

Start the day with a trip out to the beautiful Öijared for a round of foot golf or frisbee golf on the brand new multigolf course. Enjoy the fantastic surroundings and challenge the family in this different way of golfing. Fun for everyone! If you get hungry afterwards, Öijared Resort offers a variety of nice lunch options in the spectacular clubhouse, and in summertime usually BBQ on Fridays.

2. Guided tour and Hobby horsing at Nääs castle

Where: Nääs allé 8, Floda

While in the area, make a stop at Nääs Castle for a guided tour inside the castle to learn more of the history. The guided tours usually run from may to september. After the tour, it can be nice to stroll around the castle park a bit and enjoy the beautiful view over the lake Sävelången, while the children try swinging in the incredible angel swings that hang from the old oaks. It is also possible to try hobby horsing here, since there is a cross-country track for hobby horsing in the castle surroundings, very popular during summertime. If you dont have one yourself, you can easily rent a hobby horse from the tourist office for 20 SEK during opening hours.

3. Playground - The spider forest

Where: Rurik Holms väg 1, Floda

The big Spider forest is located in Floda centre, beautifully situated by the lake Sävelången. The special thing about the Spider forest playground is its fantastic design, made by ideas, thoughts and wishes from children in the area. So here you will find, as whished for - a huge spider, big and small slides, trampolines, small mushroom houses with evening lighting, climbing stumps and more fun stuff.

4. Indoor climbing in colorful environment at Grepp

Where: Smedvägen 24, Stenkullen

If the weather is a little bit tricky, this is definitely on of the places to be. It doesn't matter if you are experienced or a beginner in climbing, Grepp offers something for everyone for sure. There is climbing on 16 meters high walls, 95 running meter bouldering and Children's climbing in a separate part of the hall at 400 square meters, adapted for children and young or smaller people. Stay a half or full day to also enjoy the sauna, café, gym and relaxing area.

5. Lerums adventure pool - at Vattenpalatset  

Where: Häradsvägen 3, Lerum

If you love fun water slides, swimming, toys, jacuzzi and relaxing - lets visit the popular adventure pool area in Lerum. Spend the whole day here and enjoy everyting from a combined 25-meter pool, adventure pool, training facility, sauna, whirlpool and steam bath in its own quiet relaxation area. In addition, the house has a cinema, massage and bowling, as well as the possibility to combine activities for example children's parties, swimming parties and corporate events.

6. Cinema in Tollered - Swedens smallest movie theater

Where: Volrat Bergs väg 7, Tollered

With its total of 24 seats, Tollereds Biograf can take the pride of being Sweden's smallest cinema. In the same premises as now, films have also been shown in the late 20th century, but then only for those who worked in Tollered with textile production at Nääs Fabriker and for their children. Today they show everything from documentaries to dramas from different parts of the world, sometimes also Swedish premieres and they have now become a part of the Gothenburg Film Festival.

7. Bowling with style at Pinyard

Where: Häradsvägen 3, Lerum

Choose between ten newly renovated courses in a pleasant environment. Bowling is a fun activity for all ages, no prior knowledge is required here, lets hang out together. For the youngest bowlers there are light balls, shoes from size 28 and the possibility to play with the chute fence that prevents the ball from going down the chute. In disco bowling, you play bowling in subdued lighting with light effects and fun music. If you fancy a meal or coffee, it is served from the Port Lemur Café, which has everything from a simple cake to hot food from the grill menu.

8. Smile room - activities for all ages

Where: Svetsarevägen 9, Stenkullen

Take a trip to Smile Room, where happiness is in the focus. And did you know that Lerum is actually smile room but in swedig put together? Pretty cool. This acitivity center in Stenkullen is made for all ages who love speed and community. At Lerums Padelcenter, as the sign says on the building, you can play padel, indoor golf, laser zone, table tennis or work out in the gym area. You can also cook your own lunch as you buy from our self-service counter. And lets not forget the laser zone, it is like lazer dome in a dark area with obstacles and neon symbols, where you compete in teams or yourself, if you dare.

9. Farmers market and Swedish farm animals

Where: Hällingsbovägen 21, Gråbo

The local optionm welcome to Lammet och Bonden - The lamb and the farmer! This is a passionated small farm whos producing high-quality meat for people in the immediate area. On the farm there are ewes, lambs, cows, calves and pigs. During the summer months, the animals are out on pasture, so you can easilly stop by and ask the farmer to pet them or just stop to have a coffee and enjoy the calm surroundings. Sometimes there is events with guided tours around the farm, farm animals pattings, farmers quiz, flower pickings and more.

10. Mini golf at Löwenmarks 

Where: Aggetorpsvägen 59, Gråbo

In the backyard to the Löwenmark family you find this cute mini golf course. With only nine holes and smaller obstacles its fun to play every age. The unique thing about this mini golf is that it is purchased from Denmark, therefore it has courses that you are probably hav not seen before. Play och talk to Anna and Sven who runs it, while taking a coffee or enjoying ice cream.
