All hotel rooms share a cozy, home-like atmosphere with magical nature just outside the door. The 100 hotel rooms are located in four separate courtyard houses, all just a short walk from the main manor building. Breakfast is served in the manor restaurant, while the guesthouse offers comfortable lounges, spacious social areas and worktables. You will also find Aspenäs Spa & Retreat, a modern spa and relaxation area.

Local flavors with a lake view

Many guests consider the manor’s bright dining room with its beautiful view of Lake Aspen to be the heart of the estate. The kitchen serves a delightful menu based on seasonal ingredients – often organic and locally sourced – paired with selected wines from the manor’s wine cellar.

The restaurant serves well-prepared food, from breakfast and lunch buffets to carefully composed à la carte dinners.
On weekdays, you can enjoy a lunch buffet with a salad buffet, coffee and dessert. At weekends, a seasonal à la carte menu featuring carefully selected ingredients is served. The manor café is open on Saturdays and Sundays, offering home-baked treats and lighter lunch dishes. Current menus are available here.

Relaxation by the lake

At Aspenäs Spa & Retreat, peaceful relaxation awaits with beautiful views of Lake Aspen. Unwind in the infrared sauna, steam room or dry sauna, enjoy a warming foot bath and comfortable relaxation areas, or refresh yourself with a cold shower. For an extra boost, the lake is just a short walk away – perfect for a cooling dip from the jetty between moments of warmth and rest.

Aspenäs manor is ideal for large conferences and small meetings, birthday parties, anniversaries, corporate events, and romantic weddings. During the summer, guests are also welcomed to enjoy meals and events in the garden party tent. Indoors, you’ll find a range of board games, pool tables, and cozy lounge spaces – both in the historic manor house and the various courtyard buildings. Outdoors, guests can enjoy activities like lawn games (kubb) and yoga. Aspenäs can help tailor your event with activities suited to your preferences and needs. Enjoy a scenic walk along Lake Aspen or explore the Gotaleden trail, which passes right outside the manor.

Gotaleden – a scenic hiking experience
Gotaleden is a 99 km long hiking trail with twelve stages between Gothenburg and Vårgårda. Aspenäs manor connects to stage 4, which starts in Jonsered – offering a varied nature experience through forest paths, urban environments, and grazing pastures, alongside swimmable lakes and breathtaking viewpoints. The trail begins or ends at Kungsportsplatsen in central Gothenburg.
