The Tannery Club is a dynamic place to spend time in. Its driving motive is precisely a passion for exercising, better public health and a longer and happier life for more people! There are many different outdoor activities and courses every day of the week, and a variety of fun indoor exercising programmes. After a lovely walk along the Gota Trail you can enjoy a sauna with a view of the nature reserve. Or perhaps just stop for a chat and a cup of coffee or tea.

Stay overnight in glamping tents

The glamping site at the Tannery Club is located on the roof of the changing rooms and sauna facility, giving it a fabulous view over the flowing stream and the surrounding greenery. It is suitable for two people, with a comfortable 160 cm (Queen size) bed. Book breakfast or cook you own before setting off to explore the area, with Lake Sävelången’s cultural and industrial heritage, gastronomy experiences and marvellous nature.

The Gota Trail and Tourist information

The Gota Trail (Gotaleden) is a 71-kilometre hiking trail between Gothenburg and Alsingsås in West Sweden. It is characterised by scenic nature, pit stops near cities and proximity to train stations. There are plenty of picnic areas and shelters along the trail, as well as cosy accommodation options with delicious locally produced food. The trail begins (or ends) at Kungsportsplatsen in the very centre of Gothenburg. The whole distance from Gothenburg to Alingsås can be covered comfortably in four days, but it’s also easy to shorten the trip by using public transport.
