Sjötorp
Sjötorp is at its most beautiful during the summer and a very popular destination. Here the Göta Canal starts from Lake Vänern and you can watch the boats go trough the locks. In Sjötorp there is also bicycle rental, a passenger boat, restaurants, cafes and some local shopping.
This camper area holds a totalt of 23 pitches, of which 20 with electricity. The camper/motorhome parking is located in the middle of Sjötorp community close to the Göta Canal and Lake Vänern.

Pitch 1-20 with electricity: SEK 250/night
Pitch 21-21 without electricity: SEK 225/night

Disposal of toilet waste and grey water is available in Sjötorp.

Sjötorp and Göta Canal
In the Canal and Maritime Museum you can take part in the shipping of past times on Lake Vänern, Vättern and Göta Canal. Learn how the canal was dug over 200 years ago and see documentation of old boats, blueprints, shipwrecks and old letters and more.
Take the opportunity to take a bike ride along the canal and discover more small communities and other attractions along the way. Bicycle rental is available in Sjötorp.
The passengerboat M/S Bellevue make day tours from Sjötorp to Töreboda (and vice versa) during May-September.
