In Mariestad, there's many opportunities for those who wants to play tennis. Gravel courts outside and inside courts that has to be pre-booked. There's also multiple asphalt courts to use freely.
In the northern part of Gärdesparken sits part of Mariestad's Tennis Club's outside premises. There's a clubhouse with changing rooms, and four courts with gravel; three to the north and one to the south. These courts can be booked through the club's website www.tennisklubben.se where you also can book inside courts in Lambihallen.
Except for the gravel courts there's asphalt courts at multiple places in town, among other things at Sandbäcksvägen, the cross between Drottning Kristinas väg and Leksbergsvägen, and one by Korskyrkan by Marieforsleden.
