Flämslätt
On weekdays, you can enjoy locally produced meals and light fika right by the scenic Lake Flämsjön. A walk around the lake completes the experience, and for the adventurous, swimming is possible all year round.
Karlsfors gård
Next to the Silverfallet Karlsfors nature reserve, Karlsfors gård is a creative hub offering art and tasteful interior design. It also houses a popular café, known for what might be Skaraborg’s best cinnamon buns.
Fredriksons Vilt, Vin & Pensionat
This cosy lakeside guesthouse by Lake Ämten offers great food, comfortable accommodation, and a small shop at the reception – well worth a visit.
Sjöbacken gård Gårdsbutik och B&B
By the peaceful Lake Hattaren, this 150-year-old cottage offers rural accommodation. The small farm shop features crafts, ceramics, books, linen products, and locally produced lamb meat and sheepskins, with a focus on sustainable goods.
Varnhems klosterkafé
Next to the monastery church, enjoy homemade fika and light lunches. Sit outside with views of the historic surroundings or indoors in the charming café building from the 1920s.

A cosy farm shop offering carefully selected items such as ceramics, textiles, sweets, and locally produced goods like flowers, apple juice, and honey. There’s also a small self-service café with homemade treats and ice cream.

Snickaretorpet vedugn & butik
Set in lush countryside, Snickaretorpet offers Italian delicacies like olive oils, pesto, and marmalades. In 2024, they won the Swedish Gelato Championship with their homemade gelato – check their Facebook page for sales dates.
Alekärr ekologiska gård
Just outside Varnhem, this organic farm offers fruit picking, a farm shop with products like apple juice, chutneys, and beeswax candles, as well as a café set in green surroundings.

Mellomgården Café & Gårdsbutik
Close to Valle, Mellomgården serves coffee, homemade pastries, galettes, waffles, and light lunches. The farm shop offers interior décor, toys, clothing, and local delicacies. Accommodation and camper pitches are also available.
Kafé Körsbäret
Located in the heart of Valle, this café offers indoor and outdoor seating. Typically open on Sundays and public holidays during cherry blossom season and into early June.
