Soothing accommodation and treatments in a rural 19th-century setting

Hälsa På Landet is located in the middle of one of the most beautiful cultural regions, at the foot of Billingen and close to the forest, the pilgrimage trail, and Hornborgajön. Here you can relax and recuperate in peaceful surroundings.

Our business is based at a 19th-century farm called Källegården 2. It is located in Amundtorp, just outside Varnhem and only about 1,200 meters from the pilgrimage trail. From here, you can hear the bells of the monastery church ringing. Our business is based on living sustainably with respect for nature. For transportation, we use bicycles, electric bicycles, biogas cars (locally produced biogas – fossil-free), and our legs of course.

The house

The house is built of timber in traditional 19th-century style. Over several years, we have renovated the farm using entirely environmentally friendly materials. We have used organic flax insulation and painted both the exterior and interior with classic earth colors using various techniques and mixtures—slurry paint, linseed oil, and egg oil tempera.

The rooms

Abbess's Suite

The Abbess's Suite on the ground floor has 3 beds in 2 rooms. Here you have direct access to the garden and your own balcony.

The Blue Room

The Blue Room is located on the upper floor and features contemporary, soothing décor. It has a comfortable double bed and a lovely view of swaying treetops and meadows.

The Red Room

The Red Room is located on the upper floor opposite the Blue Room. The Red Room also has contemporary, soothing décor and a comfortable double bed. Here, too, the view is beautiful, with swaying treetops and meadows.

The Hall

Upstairs, there is also a hall for meditation, treatments, and exercises. The room has beautiful windows and beams that create a wonderful atmosphere.

Please note that animals are not allowed in the accommodation.

Restroom

Shared toilet and shower are located on the ground floor.

Breakfast

Sit in the kitchen and eat your breakfast, on the terrace or outside in the garden. Whichever you choose, it is equally idyllic and peaceful. Everything is prepared for your arrival and stay so that you can choose to take care of yourselves. Sheets, towels, and cleaning can be purchased.
