Octo Puellae

This bronze sculpture stands in the courtyard of the Cathedral School. Octo Puellae is the name of a choir for female students at the school. We see the singers in the middle of a lively performance. The material is bronze. Wanja Nones Håkansson was a Swedish artist and sculptor who grew up in Lidköping. She was initially trained as a pharmacist but then studied art at Hovedskous painting school in Gothenburg.
