Farm shop, stable café and rural training activities

When you visit Bitterna Åkatorp in Vedum you are on historic land – the “cradle of Sweden”. Beautiful countryside surrounds the farm and the activities connected with sheep raising, handicrafts and cooking are supplemented with training activities, team building, shop sales and accommodation. Test different recipes with lamb, try your hand at wool handicrafts, learn more about wool products, development in the area during the early Middle Ages and the birth of Sweden. Choose between several different package deals according to the season.

You can buy lamb, cured meats, sheepskins and handicrafts in the farm shop. You know that the animals have been well treated and the impact on the environment is minimal. You can order home-made lunch or dinner for large groups in the stable café. Perhaps you are on a quick visit and would enjoy some freshly baked cake with coffee while watching the lambs, or would you like to arrange a rewarding company meeting with rustic-style accommodation?

Rural B&B with lovely countryside just around the corner

Book one or more of these rooms: Stallet in the old granary, Gästrummet in the new wing or Sadelkammaren next to the café. All rooms have WiFi and Gästrummet also has a sauna. Breakfast is served in the farm kitchen or the conservatory.
There is a large garden next to the farm and the area is great for meetings, walking and cycle tours.
