The Swedish Right of Public Access (Allemansrätten)
In Sweden, everyone has the right to enjoy nature thanks to the Right of Public Access, known as Allemansrätten. This unique law allows people to move freely in nature – walk, cycle, swim, paddle, pick berries and mushrooms, and even camp for a night in many natural areas. Alingsås golfklubb offers four motorhome and caravan pitches with electricity close to the clubhouse. Booking must be made in advance via the reception or online. Guests have access to changing rooms with toilets and showers.
Lövekulle Camping

Lövekulle Camping is located just outside the town centre, right next to Alingsås’ largest lake, Lake Mjörn. The service building is centrally located on the campsite and offers all practical facilities you may need, such as a kitchen, toilets, showers, laundry room, ironing room, baby changing room and accessible toilet. There is also equipment for emptying chemical toilets. During the summer months the campsite offers full service. Booking is made via the website.
Lygnared Camping

Lygnared Camping is open during the summer and offers full service during the season. The campsite is located about 7 km outside Alingsås. Here you stay close to the lake Stora Färgen, with a jetty, mini golf, kiosk and delicious sourdough pizza nearby. Choose between four different camping and motorhome pitches with electricity, cosy cabins, summer houses and mobile homes. Booking is made online or by e-mail.

Gräfsnäs park

Street parking located in the beautiful Gräfsnäs Park with its castle ruin. There is no electricity, water or waste disposal here. (Public toilets are available in the park.)
