FIKA exhibition

Explore the cultural history of Swedish fika in the exhibition “FIKA! From Coffee Parties to a Simple Cup of Coffee” at the beautifully renovated Nolhaga Castle, located in the heart of the fika capital Alingsås.

Discover the traditions and stories behind Swedish fika, including the famous seven kinds of cookies, nostalgia and coffee etiquette. The exhibition also tells the story of how Alingsås became known as one of Sweden’s leading café cities. As an extra treat, visitors can experience Pippi Longstocking’s own unique and unconventional coffee party.

The exhibition is suitable for all ages and is a perfect destination for a visit in the beautiful surroundings of Nolhaga Park.
