Parking in Alingsås

Alingsås is located just 30 minutes by train from Gothenburg and approximately 45 minutes by car. We encourage our visitors to choose transportation options with the lowest possible environmental impact when visiting us. If public transport is not an option, we provide some tips here for centrally located parking.

Parking

If you are traveling to Alingsås by car, there are approximately 2,500 parking spaces available in the urban area. In the town center, you will find around 800 municipal and free parking spaces, as well as an additional 1,200 throughout the wider urban area. See the map of parking spaces in Alingsås (PDF).

At the central event arena Estrad, located directly adjacent to Alingsås station, there are 585 parking spaces available. The fee is SEK 15 per hour or SEK 50 per day. There are also four public charging stations, a total of 29 accessible parking spaces, and elevator access.
