Skate in One of Sweden’s First Concrete Parks
During dry periods, conditions are perfect for skating in Alingsås Skatepark, one of the very first concrete skateparks built in Sweden. The park was originally constructed in 2004, expanded later on, and then renovated in late 2017 by Pivotech and ENR. The renovation included polishing the worn concrete to improve the surface quality for skaters.
Located in the Savannen area of Alingsås, the park features a bowl, banks, spines, hips, rails, and manual pads. The total area spans 2,000 square metres and is lit during the evenings. Skateboards, BMX bikes, and kickbikes are all welcome here.
