Anten–Gräfsnäs Museum Railway
Anten
Take a ride with a centenarian! Hop aboard a vintage train and experience a summer tradition like no other. A journey on the Anten–Gräfsnäs Museum Railway (AGJ) is a nostalgic and scenic adventure that brings history to life on the tracks. Since the early 20th century, travelers have enjoyed train rides to the beautiful Gräfsnäs Castle Park – and thanks to the dedicated AGJ association, that tradition lives on today.
A Charming Ride Through Countryside & Time
The train travels along a 12 km heritage railway line, from Anten station to Gräfsnäs Castle Park, winding through picturesque countryside and offering lovely views of Lake Anten. Along the way, the train stops at Kvarnabo to refill water – a fascinating ritual that captures the attention of curious visitors. Feel free to walk up and watch the process up close!
When you arrive in Gräfsnäs, the locomotive is turned on a manual turntable – another unique and historic feature of the trip.
