A memorial stone to one great writer and poet
The stone is situated on the spot where Karin Boye was found dead on the 25th of April 1941.
Karin Boye was a swedish writer and poet, born in Gothenburg in 1900. She tragically commited suicide in Alingsås in 1941.
She was a brilliant poet, writing about the hardship of life, and how hard it is to live when your aspirations are higher than what you can practically achieve.
Her most famous book is "Kallocain" from 1940 and her most famous poem are probably "On the move".
