The lookout tower
Alingsås

An adventure for the whole family

Visit the old lookout tower on top of Nolhagaberget and enjoy the massive view of the city of Alingsås.

The tower was built in 1941 as a part of the anti-aircraft defense of West Sweden. Today, only a few of these towers remains.

During the war, the 12 metre tall tower could house 17 soldiers and a 40 mm anti-aircraft gun. Nowadays, the tower are open to the public during summer and offers a fabolous view of Alingsås and lake Mjörn.
