In the beautiful and wild West Värmland you will find us - a tourist resort that has been around for over 50 years and is today one of Sweden's five star campsites. Sommarvik is surrounded by beautiful warm forests and lakes and offers cottages and camping in a fantastic natural landscape.

The facility is located on a slope down to Lake Västra Silen which means that several of our cabins and camping sites have lake views. Västra Silen is a clear-water lake and one of the largest lakes in the Dalsland Canal's lake system. Canoeing here is a wonderfully fun and relaxing activity for the whole family, and something not to be missed when visiting us! During the summer there are lots of activities for the whole family and there are plenty of opportunities for relaxation.

Camping

Nothing compares to a successful camping holiday at the summer vacation! At Sommarvik there is plenty of room for children and adults to hang out, play, relax and experience new adventures. Whether you want a tent, a caravan camp or a camper van, they provide you with a five-star environment and environment for a family-friendly holiday home, personal service and lots of activities!

There are about 100 camping sites and several different areas for tents at the transit and holiday campsites. All plots have electricity, except for a few tent sites, and are centrally located on the site. Electricity is included in the price during the summer season. The plots have different sizes and high bearing capacity.

Cottages

Cottages are a comfortable and child-friendly holiday accommodation and at Sommarvik there are several different holiday villages with different character and location. Beachfront location with evening sun, high position with lovely views or central location close to playground and pool area? Sommarvik has something that suits everyone and is happy to help find the accommodation that suits your family best. Sommarvik has 70 cottages with 3-6 beds and a group accommodation with 18 beds.

At Årjäng Camping & Stugor Sommarvik there is a shop, restaurant, pool bar, outdoor pools, sauna, relaxation area, adventure golf, playgrounds, rental, beach, activities and entertainment, Kids Club and much more.

Rental

In our rental center we have canoes, funk kayaks, rowing boats and bicycles. We have maps of the lake system and can advise on exercise trails, cycle paths and canoe trails. Here you can buy fishing licenses and conservation cards. Come by and we'll help with the tour planning.

Restaurant and pool bar

The restaurant at Sommarvik is open during the summer and occasional weekends during the pre- and post-season. There are 55 indoor seats and 45 seats on our glazed terrace. From here you can enjoy fantastic views of the lake and pool area. During high season, regular troubadour nights and music entertainment are arranged on the terrace. We have full rights.

The pool bar is adjacent to our pool area and is open daily during high season. Here you can order burgers, salads, soft ice cream, ice cream and cool drinks. During peak season, breakfast and Today's lunch ("dagens" in Swedish) are also served here.
