The Borgås man
Blomskog

A statue, built of rocks and the legend tells, that it was erected during wartimes in the 17 - 18 century, to make the enemies think there stands a real watchman.

It is a statue, built of rocks, it looks like a man with a hat. The statue stands in Källtegen on a hill called Borgåsen. From a distance it looks like it is guarding the area. The origin is unknown, but the legend tells, that it was erected during wartimes in the 17 - 18 century, to make the enemies think there stands a real watchman.
From the top of Borgåsen you have a magnificent view over the lake Västra Silen. A small track leads to the statue.
