Idyllic canal location between the 19th and 20th locks, with Höljerudsforsen as its nearest neighbor.
Your own boat for the week
Above the 20th lock chamber you will find the boat that is included in the price when you rent the cottage. There is a boat engine on the boat. For our cottage guests, it is free to get through the locks during the summer when tho locks are open, so take the chance to experience the locks during the week.
The nearest grocery store is in Billingsfors and Bengtsfors is the nearest larger town.

Fishing
If you want to fish during your stay, from boat or from land, you always need to buy a fishing license. The 19 & 20 locks is located by lakes Bengtsbrohöljen and Höljerudsforsarna which is known for having good trout water. However, there is a limited number of fishing license in this fishing area, so buy your fishing license in advance if you want to be sure. You can buy your fishing license online at fiskekort.se.
