Big Swap Meet
Lidköping
This summer, Big Swap Meet takes over Lidköping and Hovby Airfield with cars, market stalls, and a lively atmosphere.
At Hovby Airfield, visitors can enjoy a packed swap meet market featuring car shows, car judging in nine categories, and the prestigious Best in Show competition. The event host for the weekend is Tommy Ledberg, and the stage will feature live Rock’n’Roll entertainment. Radio Treby will also broadcast Big Swap Meet Radio live from the venue with interviews throughout the day. Visitors can enjoy a food court with delicious food and drinks from various vendors, while younger guests can look forward to performances and activities with 300 Dance Studio.
In central Lidköping, cruising takes place on both Friday and Saturday, organized by ACCS Lidköping. On Friday, some of the finest cars will also participate in a special showcase cruise through the town square.

Cruising info
The cruising will take place throughout large parts of central Lidköping, with plenty of great spots to watch the cars pass by. Enjoy the atmosphere from an outdoor café along the cruising route, or bring your own chair and picnic and settle in beside the street.
By the Torgbron, extra food trucks will be available, making it a popular gathering spot for visitors watching the cruising. Additional food trucks will also be located at the Framnäs parking area.

Cruising Pass
You can purchase your cruising pass at all entrances to the cruising area. Please note that cash payment only is accepted. Cruising passes will also be available for purchase during Motor Thursday on July 2 at Nya Stadens Torg.
Cruising rules
Cars must be model year 1975 or older, or considered of public interest. ACCS Lidköping determines which vehicles qualify as public interest vehicles. Please lower the stereo volume, keep doors closed, remain seated in the car, and keep all trash inside the vehicle. Trash bins are available along the cruising route. No vans, EPA tractors, trucks, SUVs, limousines, or tow trucks are allowed.
Parking
At Big Swap Meet at Hovby, there are two parking areas available. Visitors arriving in American cars or enthusiast vehicles may park inside the exhibition area. Standard vehicles must use the regular parking area near the entrance to Hovby Airfield. Both parking areas are free of charge.
During the cruising on Friday and Saturday evening, large parts of central Lidköping will be closed to regular traffic. Visitors arriving by car to watch the cruising can park at:
