Hike parts of the Kinnekulle Trail

Park at Kinnekulle Camping and follow the Kinnekulle Trail through the campground. The trail then leads you along Söckeviken by the shore of Lake Vänern. Shortly after crossing the railway, you leave the Kinnekulle Trail and turn right onto the truck road, which eventually leads you up to The Great Quarry. Here, make sure to keep right and follow the path up to the edge of the quarry. From here, you get a magical view of The great quarry, perfect for taking amazing photos.

From this plateau, you can also take the stairs down toward Mörkeklevs Cave and continue down to The Munch Meadows. Here the Wild garlic begin to sprout during spring and spreading its garlicky scent. Turn back the way you came, but now follow the Kinnekulle Trail again, which takes you back to the campsite via Hellekis Manor. If you’re craving that fika by now, Hellekis Garden Café and Kitchen is open during summer and is offering both takeaway fika bags and a garden where you can sit down and relax.
