Brunsbo Äng - Brunsbo Meadow
Skara

Ancient agricultural landscape

The large meadow of Brunsbo, a few kilometres outside of Skara, is one of the largest preserved hayfields in Sweden, and dates back to the Middle Ages.

The land has been cultivated since the Iron Age, and there used to be a village on this location. Some remnants are still detectable.
