Musselbaren & Klevens tre kök (three kitchens) offers you a real Bohuslän gourmet experience. Fresh mussels are served with classic side dishes as well as other seafood, fish and varied dishes in a modern setting with views over Smögen pier.
Mussels in the limelight
Mussels may well be the star of the show at the Musselbaren & Klevens tre kök, but the restaurant also offers other delicacies from the sea, fine meat and organic vegetables. Both the bread and aioli are home-made, of course. As far as possible, all the meals are based on local and seasonal ingredients. The Musselbaren restaurant is part of the network A taste of West Sweden. The network gathers restaurants and cafes that, in close collaboration with local producers, offer West Swedish culinary experiences based on seasonal and local ingredients.

The house recipe
Mussels are boiled well under a lid with onions, garlic, herbs and wine until they have all opened properly and the meat is succulent and full of flavour. Enjoy this local delicacy with one or more of the Mussel Bar's classic side dishes and sauces.
