Träbåtsfestivalen in Skärhamn returns July 3-5 2026! A beloved summer tradition where beautifully crafted wooden boats shine in the sun and the scent of tar mingles with music, vintage engines, lively markets, and cheerful voices. Get ready for a weekend full of seaside experiences – with food, music, crafts, and activities for all ages.

Here’s the full festival schedule:

Friday, July 3 – Festival Kickoff
• 12:00–18:00: Boats arrive in Skärhamn

Saturday, July 4 – Market, Boats & Festivities
• 10:00 Official opening ceremony at the guest harbor office – with a welcome speech by Benita Nilsson
• 10:00–18:00
 ◦ Large market with local crafts, food, and products along the waterfront
 ◦ Display of vintage cars and mopeds
 ◦ Model boat exhibition at Atenehuset
 ◦ Family area with bouncy castle, wooden boat building, rope making, obstacle              course, crafts, and games
• 12:00 Regatta with Sail Yacht Society at the harbor entrance

• Throughout the day:
 ◦ Live music by TräDattons at the guest harbor office
 ◦ Coffee and treats sold by the Red Cross at Atenehuset
 ◦ Sea Rescue Society on site
 ◦ Guided tours with Bohuslän’s local guides
 ◦ Maritime Museum open
 ◦ Shops and businesses around the square open
 ◦ Nordic Watercolour Museum open
 ◦ Food trucks with flavors for all ages
 ◦ Local restaurants and cafés open

Sunday, July 5 – Final Day & Market Buzz
• 10:00: Festival area opens
• 10:00–16:00:
 ◦ The market continues with food, crafts, and local specialties
 ◦ Family area open with fun for all ages
 ◦ Model boat exhibition at Atenehuset
 ◦ Vintage cars and mopeds on display

• 11:00 - 12:00: Lecture and film about renowned boat designers Einar and       Carl‑Eric Ohlson
• 15:00: Award ceremony – Wooden Boat of the Year, at the guest harbor office
• 16:00: Träbåtsfestivalen 2025 concludes
