The tradition of Fika is well rooted and to most Swedes a given part of both work and private life. The traditional Fika consists of a cup of coffee or tea with cinnamon buns or biscuits but the variations are many.  If you are interested in the fika culture and would like to know more about it, a visit to Alingsås is a must - the town is known as the Swedish capital of Fika.

Book your own private guide, who will guide you through the city centre to try delights from some of the best cafés in town. The theme is Swedish classics. The guide will mix information about how the cafes work with sustainability regarding choice of raw products, locally produced coffee and history about how Alingsås became the capital of Fika. The tour will end with a grand finale where you will sit down to enjoy a fika in a traditional and magnificent environment.

This tour is best suited for adults. Unfortunately, dogs cannot participate.

Das Fikatour

Buchen Sie Ihren eigenen privaten Reiseführer, der Sie durch das Stadtzentrum führt, um Köstlichkeiten aus einigen der besten Cafés der Stadt zu probieren. Das Motto lautet "Schwedische Klassiker". Der Guide wird Informationen darüber geben, wie die Cafés in Bezug auf die Auswahl der Rohstoffe, lokal produzierten Kaffee und die Geschichte darüber, wie Alingsås zur Hauptstadt des Fika wurde, nachhaltig arbeiten. Die Tour endet mit einem grandiosen Finale, bei dem Sie Platz nehmen und eine Fika in traditioneller und prächtiger Umgebung genießen werden.

Diese Tour ist am besten für Erwachsene geeignet. Leider können Hunde nicht teilnehmen.

How to book and what it costs

Private Fika Tours in English or German(scroll down for info in German) is offered and needs to be booked 4 weeks in advance. Participants for a tour is 4-20 people

The days and times available are: Tuesday- Friday 13.00 or 14.00 & Saturday 10.45.

The trip takes about 1.5 hours.

Price for the guide per group is 2759 SEK+ 275 SEK per person for coffee/tea and lovely Swedish pastries to be tasted on the way.

Wie man bucht und was es kostet

Private Fika Touren in Deutsch wird angeboten und sollte 4 Wochen im Voraus gebucht werden. Die Teilnehmerzahl für eine Tour beträgt 4-20 Personen.

Verfügbare Tage und Zeiten sind: Dienstag bis Freitag um 13:00 oder 14:00 Uhr und Samstag um 10:45 Uhr.

Die Tour dauert etwa 1,5 Stunden.

Der Preis für den Guide pro Gruppe beträgt 2759 SEK+ 275 SEK pro Person für Kaffee/Tee und leckere schwedische Gebäcke, die unterwegs probiert werden.
