Bathing area Northern Säm
Norra Säm, Herrljunga
At Northern Säm there are jetties, a smal sandy beach and wonderfully large grass areas.
There is a changing room, barbecue area and outhouse toilet close to the beach.
Next to the bathing area is Säms Camping & cafe, which is open from May to September.
Just north of the bathing area lies Norra Säms Church ruin from the 13th century and here also passes the pilgrimage path of the Herrljunga-Gäsene countryside. Here you can take a cool dip during your hike.
Remember to bring your trash home or put in trash cans that are on the beach.
Dogs and other animals.
Dog or other animal should not be brought to public bathing place during the period 1 May to 30 September. This is stated in Section 18 of the General Local Regulations for Herrljunga Municipality and they are approved by the City Council 2017-03-14.
