ispgården is situated in Husaby and is surrounded by a historically fascinating farm setting. The site also features buildings dating from the 16th century, including Husaby's oldest shop, a granary and a simple bishop's residence, standing alongside the Bishop's Castle.

The farm is said to have been the royal estate of Olof Skötkonung and the site of his Christian baptism at St Brigida's Spring. The spring is located in the garden, next to the Bishop's Castle.

The approach to the farm buildings is lined by a magnificent avenue of lime trees, leading into an environment characterised by peace and tranquillity. Visitors can sit down and take a moment to escape the demands of everyday life and simply enjoy their surroundings.

Bispgården is situated in the heart of Husaby, at the centre of Sweden's Christian history, with Sweden's first cathedral and several walking, mountain biking and horse riding trails nearby. The farm is also located at the gateway to the beautiful Kinnekulle area.

Dogs are welcome, and those wishing to bring their horse to Kinnekulle can make use of the available paddocks and stables.

The farm is also a working agricultural property, home to cows, sheep, cats and a cheerful Labrador.
