Bathing spot at the foot of Kinnekulle’s western slope

At the foot of Kinnekulle’s western slope you will find Blombergs bad. You can choose whether to take a dip from the sandy beach, the rocks or the jetty.

There are also grassy areas where you can lay out your blanket for a touch of sunbathing. The bay is shallow and fairly sheltered, so it is ideal for children.

Parking facilities

The bathing spot is around 50 metres from a small marked car park. This bathing spot is classed as an EU bathing area. All bathing spots with an average of more than 200 bathers per day are counted as an EU bathing area. Under the EU directive they are subject to water quality testing at least 3-4 times during the bathing season. 

Toilets: The bathing spot has a toilet that is accessible to all, including visitors with a disability.

Waste disposal: A litter bin is in place for use during the bathing season.
