Rörstrand 300th Anniversary Celebration
A jubilee celebration for the whole family.
On Saturday, June 13, from 10:00 to 16:00, we celebrate 300 years of Rörstrand with a full day of activities for all ages, where community, creativity, and the joy of making take center stage.

Stage programme with music, dance, culture, and joy
Throughout the day, the stage will be filled with performances from both well-known names and local talents. The programme features singing, dancing, music, and opening speeches, including appearances by host and artist Nassim Al Fakir, entertainers and magicians Knaster & Knas, Lidköping native Filippa Kavalic from the SVT series Blod, svett och tårar, and antiques expert Li Pamp, known from TV shows such as Antikdeckarna and Bytt är bytt.
The Lidköping Culture School contributes musical performances, and visitors can enjoy dance in various styles from traditional folk dance by Lidköping Folk Dance Guild to modern performances by 300 Dance Studio. The choir BelCanto will perform, and the winner of the baking competition will also be presented.
Anniversary exhibition opening and on-site activities
The celebration begins with a classic coffee gathering, where the first 500 guests will have the opportunity to take home the Rörstrand mug they drink from. Visitors can also attend the exclusive opening of the anniversary exhibition Rörstrand 300 Years – A Blooming Jubilee at Rörstrand Museum.
Activities will take place inside the museum throughout the day. Outside, creative workshops for both children and adults offer the chance to try pottery and work with clay. Visitors can also meet Knaster & Knas as they mingle in the area.
There will be competitions with great prizes, fun activities such as face painting, and guided tours at the Porcelain Factory. Special anniversary offers will also be available in shops around the city.
A creative market street
Connecting the city center with Rörstrand Center, a creative market will stretch along Torggatan, where local artisans sell their handcrafted products. A perfect opportunity to discover and take home unique, handmade items.
The anniversary day is a tribute to Rörstrand’s long history and offers an inspiring, memorable experience for everyone. Don’t miss the chance to treat yourself to the festive anniversary pastry at the Rörstrand Museum café.
