Hiking on Kinnekulle
The plateau mountain Kinnekulle offers exciting adventures for all ages.
- Short & Long Nature Trails – 3/5 km Walking trails adapted for the family. Be inspired by nature and interesting information signs along the trails
- Hallaleden – 3 km Pass by Lasse’s Cave, a fascinating historical site!
- Martorps waterfall - 3,2 km round trip Leads to Martorps waterfalls, during spring waters cascade down limestone cliffs. Picnic tables available.
- The great quarry loop - 4 km Explore the Grand Quarry, perhaps the most striking place on Kinnekulle.
- Djurgården Trail – 2.7 km Beautiful natural surroundings with grazing animals and majestic deciduous trees.
Hiking in Lundsbrunn
- Sörboleden – 3 km A winding path through ravines, untouched nature, boardwalks, and small bridges.
Hiking on Kålland and Kållandsö
- Kleversbergen – 3.5 km Very hilly, but rewards you with a stunning view over Fröfjorden.
- Roparudden – 4 km An exciting hike along forest roads and cliffs with views toward Läckö Castle. barbecue area and benches available.
- Kinneviken – 3 km A trail through old spruce forest ending at a charming swimming spot. Be careful on the rocks if it’s wet.
Hiking in Lidköping
- The Beach walk – 5 km A walk from the marina through Framnäs beach park along Lake Vänern, ending at Giacominaparken with café, mini golf, and beach.
- Hindens Rev – 10 km round trip A more challenging adventure over rocky and wooded terrain. The narrow cape eventually disappears under the lake. Barbeque area available.Hindens rev is located at Svalnäs Beach known as Vänern’s Riviera.
- Råda Ås – 3.6–5.2 km An accessible outdoor area with fitness trails and themed paths. Barebeque areas and great views of Lidköping and Kinnekulle.
- Källstorp – 1.6–7 km A recreation area along the Vänern coast, with forest and coastal trails. The Island World leads across boardwalks to tiny islands. Barbeque and swimming areas included.
