RASTA RATTUGGLAN MARIESTAD – Just outside the town center, by the E20, you’ll find Rasta. Here you can enjoy classic Swedish home-style cooking for both the daily lunch special and à la carte. DINNERS – At the southern entrance to Mariestad, Dinners has its restaurant. Here they offer a daily lunch menu with traditional home-style dishes and always several options to choose from on weekdays, as well as a weekend menu on Saturdays and Sundays.

MARIESTADS GOLFKROG – A short distance from central Mariestad, next to the shore of Lake Vänern, the Golfkrog serves food made from scratch, aiming to use seasonal ingredients as much as possible. A popular lunch buffet is available year-round, not only during the golf season.

HEDA KÖK & SKAFFERI – Located near the town center along the main street Stockholmsvägen, Heda prepares the daily lunch using meat and dairy products from Swedish farms and fish from Klangahamn by Lake Vättern, Lysekil or Smögen. LEVIN & CO – In the middle of town, on the pedestrian street, Levin & Co is a bistro, café and bar that serves a daily lunch with tasty homemade dishes on weekdays. Outdoor seating facing the pedestrian street. Dogs are welcome both indoors and outside.

RESTAURANG LUNA – A small and cozy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere on the restaurant street Kungsgatan. For weekday lunches, traditional home-style cooking is served with several dishes to choose from daily. Pizza is also available. À la carte at other times.

SÄLLSKAPET MARIESTAD – Right by Lake Vänern, in Karlsholme Folkets Park, Sällskapet Mariestad offers food from the Skaraborg region made with seasonal ingredients. For lunch, there are four options to choose from: fish, meat, the weekly vegetarian dish, and the weekly pizza. Takeaway is also available. À la carte is served in the evening.

ROYAL SMASCH – A restaurant at Hertig Karls torg in central Mariestad. Lunch buffet with traditional home-style cooking, à la carte and pizza are served here. Also Italian flavors, selected à la carte dishes and delicious pasta. Takeaway and catering are available.

VATTEN & BRÖD – In the old prison building at the mouth of the Tidan River into Lake Vänern, centrally located in Mariestad, you can enjoy well-prepared food in a historic setting. For lunch, classic Swedish home-style dishes are served, prepared with care and tradition. À la carte is available at other times, featuring seasonal ingredients.
