WILAIS THAI KITCHEN serves flavorful Thai dishes for lunch (buffet), à la carte and takeaway. The food is made from scratch using plenty of fresh vegetables and spices. The level of spiciness varies – feel free to ask for it milder or hotter than listed on the menu. The restaurant is located at Hertig Karls Square, near the town center. There is a large outdoor seating area where dogs are welcome.
KOLGRILLSHÖRNAN is located in the Old Town, at the corner of Kyrkogatan and Komministergatan. The menu is filled with Lebanese grilled dishes, hot and cold meze and salads. The charcoal grill gives the food a delicious smoky flavor. Offers à la carte and weekday lunch service.
HA LONG’S KÖK is situated at the corner of Kungsgatan and Hamngatan with a view over the Tidan River. The menu features Asian flavors with dishes from China, Thailand and Vietnam, as well as sushi. A weekday lunch buffet is served. À la carte is available in the evenings, along with takeaway. The name Ha Long comes from the Vietnamese name Vịnh Hạ Long, meaning “Bay of the Descending Dragon,” one of Vietnam’s most famous natural sites known for its dramatic scenery and caves.
