Waffle Café at Persgården
Ullervad-Leksberg's local heritage association serves waffles at the heritage site Persgården in Karleby. Take a coffee break in a historic setting and explore the Culture Trail that starts here.

Vicarage Garden Café
Mariestad Parish invites you to a summer café in the vicarage garden near the cathedral in central Mariestad. The charming red wooden buildings surround the garden, offering a cozy coffee experience. Activities include quizzes, games, toys, and sometimes singing sessions.

Summer Café at Sandbäcken, Torsö
Torsö's local history society opens its summer café at Sandbäcken, serving freshly made waffles, homemade pastries, and ice cream.

Sjötorp Community Center

The Harbour Warehouse in Lyrestad
This harbor warehouse houses a local museum across three floors (no elevator), showcasing everything from telephones to old farming tools. On the ground floor, there's a café with homemade buns and cookies. Göta Canal passes just outside.

Bäcken
The Equmenia Church in Mariestad opens its summer café by Lake Vänern, about 2 km from the center. Seating is available indoors, on the veranda, and on the lawn with lake views. They serve homemade treats, sandwiches, and ice cream. There's also mini-golf with courses themed around Mariestad landmarks.

Snapen Outdoor Center
Beautifully located by Lake Vänern, about 4 km from the center. Offers coffee and ice cream, along with a nice beach and changing rooms.

Millstone Mine in Lugnås
A fascinating destination on the Lugnås mountain– one of the few millstone mines in the world open to visitors. Discover traces of 800 years of mining history in a lush setting. A small café offers waffles, coffee, and ice cream.
