Cycle Lilla Oxtrampen

Lilla Oxtrampen is a wellknown cycle tour among the local cycle enthusiasts, and is part of Stora Oxtrampen which has been nominated as Sweden’s most beautiful exercise trail.
Scenic winding roads with relatively little vehicle traffic take you on a beautiful round tour. You cycle along the shores of Lake Vänern towards Kinnekulle plateau mountain.
From central Mariestad, you initially follow the red and white bicycle signs for the Biosfärleden towards Lidköping. The tour takes you through beautiful nature, through forests and small villages and passes historical sights. The map also contains tips on both longer and shorter detours to places that are worth a visit.
