Daisy´s Place is situated in Lyrestad by Göta canal, 20 kilometers north of Mariestad. This cafe offers home baked pastries and bread and also has a small gift shop. Choose to sit inside the homely cafe or outside overlooking the boats passing by on the canal. Open all year.

Make a stop for coffee and pastries in Lyrestad, a small village right by the Göta Canal, 20 km north of Mariestad. This is where the E20 highway meets the canal, and if you are cycling along the old towpath, you will most likely pass through here. The railway also runs through Lyrestad, and the Kinnekulle train has a station here.
At Daisy's Place, you can step into a cosy, homely setting or sit outside on the terrace and watch boats slowly make their way along the Göta Canal. Enjoy homemade cakes and pastries baked using recipes passed down from the owner's grandmother and great-grandmother. Delicious sandwiches and coffee are also available.

Daisy's Place is open all year round. A breakfast buffet is served on weekdays from 8:00 to 10:00 am.
