Hike to Ekudden and Sandviken
Mariestad
Beautiful hike, 6 km single track, from central Mariestad along Väner´s beach through the nature reserves Ekudden and Sandviken.
The trail is marked with orange signs and mostly follows the Biosphere Trail. It goes on paths, footpaths and cycle paths and graveled roads and is easy to walk, but is not suitable for prams and walkers.
On the walk, you pass, in addition to the nature reserve Ekudden, Tegelängen's wetland, Ekudden's campsite, Bäcken's café and Mariestad's golf club before arriving at Sandviken's bathing area and nature reserve.
The hike is not suitable for prams, wheelchairs or walkers.
